Palia Journal bug reference cards showing game artwork and rarity information

Turn a missing bug into a manageable next goal

Open the bug section in Explore to find a species, browse its artwork, and read the available reference details. Search and filters help you narrow a large list to something useful for the session you actually want to play. Open the linked source when you need more context about a location or requirement.

Use your collection to record which bugs you have discovered, with separate regular and starred states where supported. Keep a wishlist for bugs you still want, or make a short goal for a few specific catches. The journal is a manual record of your progress; it does not read your Palia account or track your character in the world.

Today can help you decide when to head out. Its Bugs filter shows creatures with known time windows alongside the Palia clock. A creature being available does not guarantee it has spawned, and schedules can change with game updates. Pair that information with your own goals rather than trying to chase everything at once.

  • Browse bug reference entries by name and rarity.
  • Keep regular and starred discoveries separate.
  • Pair a personal bug wishlist with known time windows on Today.
