Palia Journal · Fish
Palia Journal fish reference cards with game artwork and fishing information

Plan a fishing session around your own collection

Start with the fish section in Explore. Search by name, narrow the reference list with category and location filters, and open a fish to see the available details and linked source. You can compare those details with your personal collection rather than trying to remember every species you have already caught.

A regular catch and a starred catch are different milestones. Palia Journal keeps those states separate for fish that support starred quality. Use Track to maintain your collection and wishlist, and let a personal goal hold the catches you want to work toward next. Progress is entered manually; the app does not watch your game or detect a catch.

The Today page adds a time-based view to your plans. It shows the shared Palia clock and creatures with known availability windows. Availability is a planning aid, not a promise of a spawn or a successful catch. Check the fish's reference details for its location and requirements, especially after a game update.

  • Find fish by name and review reference details with actual game artwork.
  • Record regular and starred discoveries independently.
  • Use Today’s availability information alongside your fishing goals.
